This is a game I made for college in about three to four weeks. It's a turn-based RPG with three bosses and a bunch of varied enemy encounters, with three members in the player's party total by the end. Play in fullscreen so the visuals don't look blurry and crappy!

I forgot to add a tutorial but you really don't need one, honestly. Select an attack from the list when it's your character's turn, then select an enemy on the right side of the screen to inflict the attack. A lot of attacks have different inflictions that they have a chance of affecting the target with. A simple D20 system is in place a la DND, and all characters and their attacks have armor class and hit modifiers respectively to match. Pretty proud of how it turned out despite a lot of jank behind the scenes.

All artwork and music was sourced from the games Darkest Dungeon 1 and 2, trademarks of Red Hook Studio; victory music taken from Baldur's Gate 3. Character sprites were traced over and modified to better suit the game's visuals. All other sound effects were sourced from freesound.org. I used Dungeon Scrawl for the battle-map design of the world map. All programming was done from scratch, and was the primary emphasis of the project in the first place, to better grasp Godot on a broader scale than just making a few minigames here and there.

I'll probably link a GitHub repo with the source code later. I have performed great sins and conspired with terrible dark deities to make this game fucking work and I'd do it all over again if I had to. Making games is awesome.

At any rate, enjoy :)
